angelwarriorcastiel: Misha Collins will be on an episode of...

angelwarriorcastiel:

Misha Collins will be on an episode of Whose Line Is It Anyway on the CW Network on Monday, June 16th at 8pm EST/7pm CST (find your time zone here). We also have a winner for the poll we have been running for a Misha-specific tag to support him. That winner is….

#WhoseMishaIsItAnyway! This is to be used in conjunction with the offical tag, #WLIIA.

Let’s support Misha (as he always supports his fans) and make sure his episode gets amazing ratings!

Here’s how you can help:

-If you are in a Nielsen household, watch live on your television. This is how US television ratings are measured. If you’re not sure if you’re a Nielsen household, you’re not. But there are still ways to make your watching count towards ratings!

-Even if you are not in a Nielson household, still watch it live and then be sure to watch later on DVR too if possible!

-Record the episode on your DVR even if you do watch live. DVR viewings are counted into Nielsen numbers. Make sure to watch the recording as soon as possible, the earlier you watch the more it counts for the Live +7 and Live +3 Nielsen numbers. (even if you don’t pay attention to the episode, you can at least have it playing while you do other stuff!)

-If you can’t watch live at the time of the episode, use a livestream or download link so you can tweet along with others that are live watching!

-Also be sure to watch (or rewatch) the episode on the official CW Whose Line Is It Anyway site. Those viewings count towards ratings too. The episode is normally posted to the website at or shortly after midnight EST. (even if you don’t pay attention to the episode, you can at least have it playing while you do other stuff!)

-Another way to help is to boost the Nielsen twitter ratings. Tweet the episode using the #WLIIA hashtag. Per this article, Nielsen starts counting tweets for an episode 3 hours before airtime, and continues counting for 3 hours after the episode ends, so that gives you 7 hours to hop on twitter and give Misha your support by using the #WLIIA hashtag. In addition we found out that Nielsen continues counting views of tweets until 5AM EST the following morning, so if you’re awake all night, keep on retweeting those #WLIIA tweets!

-Only US based tweets count, BUT retweets hold the same weight as original tweets, so if you have international friends watching and tweeting with the #WLIIA hashtag retweet them so they’ll count too. If you are watching from outside of the US, use the hashtag so we can retweet you! Add OUSA to your tweets to make it even easier, that way your US friends will know just what to do!

-Another thing to keep in mind, per twitter analytics, tweets with more than two hashtags can be flagged as spam, so stick with just #WLIIA and #WhoseMishaIsItAnyway.

Misha always makes an effort to show how much he loves and supports his fans, so let’s make this the most watched episode of WLIIA ever and show just how much we love and support Misha!

Don’t forget to start tweeting as soon as you can starting at 5pm EST/4pmCST with the hashtag #WLIIA and then at 6pmEST/4pmCST we’ll make a concentrated effort to trend #WhoseMishaIsItAnyway.

Thanks as always for all that you guys do to support Misha!
